Starting November 10, Turo’s Airport Parking Fee Pilot Program will bill hosts for airport deliveries. Park My Share helps you stay compliant and in control, with no surprise deductions.
Hosts will be billed a minimum 1 hour of parking before every trip
Photo timestamps matter Hosts that skip the check-in flow will be charged for 4 hours at the highest maximum parking rate
For Denver: 4 hours at the highest rate would be up to $140
For Phoenix: 4 hours at the highest rate would be up to $100
Early drop-offs cost extra: Hosts that deliver the vehicle earlier than 1 hour before the trip start will be responsible for all pre-trip parking time billed.
Daily-rate airports Hosts that deliver to daily rate lots will be responsible for the full-day parking (pre + post trip)
Multi-vehicle hosts Hosts must complete the check-in flow for each car within 1 hour which is a big logistical challenge
Less control over your profit margins
More stressful delivery
More expensive parking
More steps in your process
Approved by Turo (fully compliant transponder access)
No automatic parking fee deductions
Stage vehicles when it works for you
24/7 shuttles for your guests
Secure, airport-adjacent facilities
Fixed-costs, Flexible plans: daily, monthly, or reserved spots
Hosts must disclose parking fees to guests in Turo messaging
Hosts must share exact parking location details before trip start
Violations of delivery-permit policies can trigger fees deducted from host earnings
Regardless of fleet size, these changes will require hosts to work within much tighter staging windows before and after each trip.
For smaller hosts who may also be juggling full-time jobs or personal commitments, this could mean a higher likelihood of needing to pay the 4-hour max parking rate simply to accommodate the realities of their schedule. And for larger hosts with 5+ vehicles, individually staging and delivering every car within a one-hour window becomes extremely challenging (in some cases, nearly impossible) without added systems or help.
On top of that, hosts will now need to add an additional step to their check-in flow to ensure they’re dropping the vehicle off no more than exactly one hour before the trip starts, following the airport’s check-in procedures closely.
In short, the days of pre-staging well ahead of time, or leaving vehicles between back-to-back trips for quick handoffs, are essentially gone under this new setup.
But there is some silver lining here…

As an approved, transponder-based parking partner, Park My Share helps Turo hosts operate efficiently - without losing earnings to airport fees.
No automatic deductions from Turo earnings
Stage vehicles on your own schedule
Secure, airport-adjacent facilities
Flexible daily, monthly, or reserved subscription options
